Adam Hajossy Dedic<\/a>, M.Mus., DiS (b. 1987)<\/b> is a multiple award-winning professional concert and film score composer based in New York City, known for his inventive orchestral writing and a distinctive compositional voice rooted in European modernism and folklorism. He began his musical studies in Copenhagen and earned a six-year diploma from the Prague Conservatory with a rare triple major in Composition, Conducting, and Piano Performance. He holds a Master of Music in Composition from Brooklyn College (with Douglas Geers, Jason Eckardt, and Tania Le\u00f3n and a Professional Studies Diploma from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied under Raiko F\u00fcting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Orchestral music lies at the core of Dedic\u2019s artistic practice. His works have been performed by the <\/span>Krak\u00f3w Philharmonic Orchestra<\/b>, <\/span>Plze\u0148 Philharmonic Orchestra<\/b>, <\/span>Northern Czech Philharmonic Orchestra<\/b>, <\/span>Prague Chamber Orchestra<\/b>, and the <\/span>Brooklyn College Orchestra<\/b>. His orchestral catalog includes large-scale works such as <\/span>Symphony No. 1<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Fantasy for Four-Handed Piano and Orchestra<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Aries Overture<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>The Destructors<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Legend: Year-long Odyssey for solo Organ (Musiikkitalo Organ) and Orchestra, Den Sista Pastoralsymfonin (The Last Pastoral Symphony), <\/span><\/i>and<\/span> Kr\u00e1\u013e \u010casu (Time King),<\/span><\/i> characterized by bold harmonic language, textural contrast, and rhythmic complexity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Central to Dedic\u2019s recent work is <\/span>Arrythmism<\/span><\/i>, a personal aesthetic that explores temporal instability, asymmetrical phrasing, perceptual dissonance, and the introduction of time warping in music. Drawing from spectral techniques and post-serial fragmentation, <\/span>Arrythmism<\/span><\/i> manipulates rhythm as a fluid. It’s an expressive tool that often blends pulse disruptions, shifting metric fields, and controls elastic timing within musical fractal geometry.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>
